Katelyn Smith ’12
was hired as a graphic
designer by Schubert b2b, a top tier
tech marketing agency. Smith is respon-
sible for creating the visual brands for
Schubert’s clients and providing graphic
design services for marketing and ad-
vertising collateral, as well as websites,
interactive and trade show projects.
Previously, Smith provided graphic
design services to the Integral Systems
Corporation, Partners Design, and the
Kutztown Heritage Center.
Juan Bolanos ’13
has been hired as an
interactive designer by MI Digital Agency,
Inc., a full-service digital marketing
agency providing strategy, creative,
technology and experience solutions.
Kristy Huesken ’13
had her work on
display at Lancaster Dental Arts in Feb-
ruary 2015. Her pieces consisted of a
series of oil paintings exploring the
power of emotional and individual ex-
pression through portraiture and color.
Talia Russell ’13
was named head cheer-
leading coach at St. Edward’s University.
Russell was previously an assistant
cheer coach at KU.
Isaiah Arpino ’14
joined the front office
staff at Minor League Baseball Altoona
Curve as mascot development/market-
ing coordinator. Arpino has been with
the team for six seasons as a game
day mascot performer. He spent 2014
touring the minor league baseball circuit
with Reggy “the Purple Party Dude” of
Bruce Productions.
Heather Geist ’14
was a senior princess
candidate at the 2015 Greater Pottsville
Winter Carnival’s Senior Princess Coro-
nation Pageant and Queen’s Ball.
Ian Smith ’14
works with his eight-year-
old sister, Carly to create original works
of art. Carly suffered a traumatic brain
injury and is unable to communicate.
Smith works with Carly, creating a base
image and then brushing her paint-
covered fingers over the canvas. Creat-
ing art is the best way Smith knows to
communicate with his sister.
