sesquicentennial, the Borough of Kutztown is already
celebrating its bicentennial. Join them in the

Kutztown Kruizz for the Bicentennial
Main Street in Kutztown will host classic cars from
local collectors. The day will end at the Kutztown
Park with a concert and a movie in the bandshell.

Local churches will present a community service
in the Kutztown Park to showcase the role of the
church in Kutztown’s history.

Visit Kutztown’s historic Strand Theater, which
celebrated its 100th birthday in 2014.

walking history tour of Kutztown
Kutztown has a rich architectural history, and is
the perfect town for taking a walk.

Dinner on main
The 200 block of West Main Street will be closed
to traffic for outdoor dining. Attendees will be
encouraged to purchase food from Kutztown
restaurants or bring their own meals.

Bicentennial parade
Steps off at 7 p.m.

Kutztown Day
Held for over 100 years in the Kutztown Park on
the first Sunday of August, Kutztown Day and its
fireworks will be the closing activity of the
bicentennial celebration. Kutztown Day activities
include concerts, picnics, family reunions, games
(organized and spontaneous), raffles, contests,
and other “old fashioned” fun.
