displayed in the
Mosaic Muse exhibit at Fox Chase City
Hall. The large piece took an entire
summer to create.
The 1990s
Kimberly (Whiteman) Taylor ’90
has
been promoted to assistant vice presi-
dent of human resources at the Federal
Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Taylor
joined the bank in 1993 as a compensa-
tion analyst in human resources. She
oversees compensation, benefits, em-
ployee relations, workers’ compensation
and the department’s administrative unit.
Carrie (Carroll) Donald ’91
announced
her candidacy for district attorney of
Bradford County.
Jessica (Salzman) Parnell ’91
published
her article,
“College Admissions: 6
Must-Do Tips for Success!”
on the
Homeschool Academy Blog. Parnell is
a mom, homeschool evaluator, teacher
and president of Bridgeway Academy.
Thomas Horn ’92,
a wood carver, crafted
several life-sized raptors for display in
the Irma Broun-Kahn Education Building
at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. It took
Horn 18 months to complete the raptors,
which are made of common carving
woods—tupelo and basswood.
Wanda (Canales) Colon ’93,
director of
admissions, was honored for her dedi-
cation to teamwork at an employee
banquet by the Washington Adventist
University Board of Trustees.
Salvador Sepulveda ’94,
principal of
Tyson-Schoener Elementary in Reading
School District, is currently working on
a doctorate. in educational leadership.
Joseph Stouffer ’94
was named the
2014 North Carolina Art Education
Association Secondary Art Educator of
the Year at its annual state conference.
Stouffer was also named the 2014
Bascom Center for Visual Arts Teacher
Challenge Winner for his award-winning
art lesson plan,
“Wheel-less Face Jugs.”
Baron Holland ’96
has been appointed
the small business banker manager for
Bank of America in Philadelphia, South
Jersey and Delaware. Holland leads a
team of bankers who will provide more
personalized attention to small business
owners by spending time with them
at their place of business and learning
more about what their companies do.
Tara Houser ’96
was named to the York
chapter of the Credit Unions Board of
Directors. Houser is the vice president
of marketing at First Capital Federal
Credit Union.
David Boer ’97
has been appointed
vice president of sales and marketing,
aftermarket, for Wells Vehicle Electronics.
He is responsible for all sales, marketing
and customer service activities for the
global Wells Vehicle Electronics business.
Boer most recently served as vice
president of new product development
for UCI-FRAM AutoBrands, where he
helped to identify a number of key
growth opportunities and led efforts to
commercialize several new products.
Jonathan Vuotto ’97
was elected a
partner of the Morristown-based law
firm Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland &
Perretti LLP. Vuotto has tried cases in
state and federal courts and before
the American Arbitration Association,
and is also an experienced appellate
practitioner. He is chair of the Financial
Services Committee of the Morris County
Bar Association and has been a con-
tributor to the annual supplement for
the New Jersey Practice Series Appellate
Practice and Procedure since 2007.
Jean Burdick ’98
had an exhibit of
her paintings and works on paper
displayed at Pennswood Art Gallery,
Newtown, Pa. Burdick’s work shows
layers of textures and images which
reference the observations she makes
about the interconnectedness of
systems in the natural world. She uses
drawing, painting and silkscreen to
make patterns, layers of color and
texture—magnifying, overlapping and
obscuring.
Bryan MacLeod ’98,
assistant principal
of Cedar Cliff High School, has been
named principal of Nye Elementary
School in the Lower Dauphin School
District. Previously MacLeod was an
administrative intern and art teacher
in the West Shore School District, and
also served as a long-term substi-
tute art teacher at the Londonderry
Elementary School.
Ryan Vogelsong
reached agreement
on a $4 million, one-year deal to stay
with Major League Baseball San Fran-
cisco Giants. Vogelsong, a former KU
and Iron Pigs pitcher, went 8-13 with
a 4.00 ERA in 32 starts last season.
Vogelsong has spent the past four
seasons with San Francisco, winning
World Series titles in 2012 and 2014.
Jeffrey Clancy ’99,
professor in metals
at the University of Wisconsin, had
his exhibit,
“Revere,”
on display at the
Maners Pappas Gallery at the Univer-
sity of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR).
The exhibit spoke to the power of one
of the most widely reproduced met-
alware objects in the U.S. Clancey has
lectured and instructed extensively
throughout the country at institutions
such as Bowling Green State University,
the Rhode Island School of Design, the
Maine College of Art and the University
of Wisconsin.
