MSW Taylor Person 2018-2019 Agency Name: Promise Neighborhoods Profile: Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley is a non-profit agency that fosters cooperation among residents and with the Greater Lehigh Valley to create safe, healthy, vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods, which expects children to succeed in school and where adults and families thrive and want to live. Field Placement Responsibilities: My role at Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley is a Community Organizer. I guide the client system through the planned change process by engaging with community members, fostering cooperation through rapport building, utilizing services through interdisciplinary collaboration, utilizing the role and skill of advocacy, and applying relevant theories to better the implementation of the social work practice. Future Goals: My future goals are to graduate as a LSW, MSW in 2019 and to earn my Ph.D. Department of Social Work
