MSW Field Profiles 2018-19

MSW Samantha Koons 2018-2019 Agency Name: Merakey- Schuylkill Mountain Center Profile: Merakey is a provider of mental health services that strives to create individualized care for clients and their families. Field Placement Responsibilities: As an intern, I am responsible for assisting with administrative duties of the outpatient therapy program, as well as observed and conducting intakes for new patients, collaborating with a psychiatrist for tele-psychiatry services, and observing and eventually providing therapy sessions. Future Goals: In the future, I hope to obtain my LCSW and continue to practice in an outpatient setting. Department of Social Work
