was hired as a web

branding agency located in Philadel-

joined the analyti-
cal laboratory Azzur Labs, LLC
in North Whitehall Township as
a lab technician. He is responsi-
ble for general microbiology test-
ing and molecular flow-based
methodology.
Kristen (Armstrong) Thompson ’10
was united in marriage to Ryan
Thompson in June. The bride is a
preschool teacher at the Malvern
School of Lionville in Exton, Pa.
Rebecca Blanchard ’12
joined
Berks-Mont Newspapers in July
2012 as editor of The Boyertown
Area Times, following her internship
with the newspaper.
April Harakal ’12
was hired as
a fifth grade teacher at Zephyr
Elementary School, Whitehall, Pa.
She has worked as a substitute
teacher, para-educator and most
recently special education teacher.
Daniel Mease ’12
was sworn in as
an Upper Merion police officer by
District Justice William Maruszczak.
Sarah Schnurr ’12
completed
a year of AmeriCorps service at
Providence Children’s Museum.
As an AmeriCorps Museum Educa-
tor, she was part of a team that
designed and implemented engag-
ing science, technology, engineering
and math (STEM) enrichment
activities for 500 low-income
children ages 6-12 in after-school
and summer learning clubs.

agency. She is responsible for assist-
