The 2000s
Drew Frantzen ’00
joined Altitude
Marketing as manager of web
services. Frantzen will oversee
web design and development for
Altitude clients, as well as contrib-
ute to graphic design efforts. He
was the recipient of Greater Lehigh
Valley Ad Club “Addy” Awards in
2007, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Jared Shade ’00
has been selected
as the new Upper Dauphin Area
Middle School principal.
Melissa Borland ’01
, formerly the
executive director of the Miracle
League of the Lehigh Valley, has
been named the new president
and CEO of the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
Sarah (Fennimore) McBee ’01
was
appointed the new community
relations/foundation coordinator
for the Ephrata Area School
District.
Joanne Reinert ’01
has joined
Coldwell Banker Select Profes-
sionals, Wyomissing, as a realtor.
Kelly (Platt) Zidik ’01
was inducted
into the Highstown High School
Hall of Fame in Oct. She was team
MVP in both softball and soccer,
winning two Valley Division titles
in softball and one in soccer. As
shortstop on the softball team,
she led the team to the CVC cham-
pionship in 1995 and 1996, was
named first-team All-CVC from her
sophomore to her senior years and
was team MVP her senior year.
Frank DiLeo ’02
was hired as the
new principal at the Octorara Area
School District’s Primary Learning
Center. DiLeo enjoys spending time
with his wife Heather, also a teach-
er, and daughter Brayden. In his
spare time he plays guitar, practices
yoga, reads, swims and works out.
Jason John ’02
, a contemporary
painter, was selected to exhibit
his work in an exhibition entitled
“Get Real: New American Painting,”
which provided a snapshot of the
current landscape of realist painting
in the U.S. The exhibition was held
at the Museum of Contemporary
Art in Jacksonville, Fla. John is
an assistant professor of painting
at University of North Florida in
Jacksonville.
Tracy Slonaker M ’02
has published
a series of Christian young adult
fantasy novels with Martin Sisters
Publishing.
Kelsey Marsh ’03
was promoted
to detective first class for the
Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s
Office. Marsh has been with the
office for nine years and was previ-
ously assigned to the Grand Jury
Unit, Narcotics Unit and Special
Victims Unit. She is a member of
the Child Abduction Response Team
(CART) and coordinates the office’s
car seat program. She will remain
in the Special Victims Unit.
Jenna Galligani ’04
is a counselor
at Preventive Measures, a facility
in Allentown that provides outpa-
tient mental health services.
Galligani believes that those who
struggle with mental health condi-
tions can also benefit from helping
their bodies and spirits. In August,
Galligani coordinated a holistic
health fair, “Changing from the
Inside Out,” at the Allentown
Public Library.
Gabriel Dillard ’05
has been hired
as the assistant principal at
Whitehall High School.
Matthew Borrelli ’05
joined Altitude
Marketing as manager of design
services. In this role, Borrelli will
oversee client graphic design needs
for print and electronic efforts and
also lend graphic design support to
the web design team.
Sara (Behler) Flexer ’05
married
Francis Walter Flexer Jr. on Dec. 7,
2013. She is employed as a fifth
grade special education teacher
at Mahanoy Area School District.
Travis Bloom ’06
was hired as the
new principal for Klinger Middle
School, Southampton, Pa., by the
Centennial School District.
Michael Clay ’07
is the managing
editor and director at Pro Football
Focus Fantasy. He is also an NFL
writer at NBC Rotoworld and ESPN
Insider, and has contributed to
Athlon Sports and Philadelphia
Eagles.com. Clay was featured as
a virtual analyst in EA Sports’
Madden 25 video game. In addition,
he is a member of the Pro Football
Writers of America and is on the
Fantasy Sports Writers Association
Hall of Fame voting committee.
Julie (Porter) LaSalle ’07
has been
hired by Godfrey, a marketing com-
munication agency, as an account
manager. LaSalle is responsible for
developing and executing unified
marketing programs for clients.
Luke Miller ’07
was hired as the
K – 8 elementary school principal
of the Somerset County Educa-
tional Services Commission, a
public school for students with
behavioral disabilities.
Sicily Milligan ’07
graduated from
the police academy in Feb. 2014.
Ari, her 8-year-old daughter, and
Beverley, her mother, also a police
officer, were in attendance.
Daniel Styer ’07
has been appointed
the assistant principal at Washington
District Elementary School, Va.
William Dovico M ’08
has been
hired as the principal for the
Northwestern Lehigh Middle
School.
Mikal Payne ’09
and his wife wel-
comed their first child on May 2,
2014; a happy and healthy baby
boy named Mikal LaNard Payne Jr.
