The 13-monthslong celebrationwill recognize the institu-
tion’s 150 years of existence,which began as KeystoneNormal
School on September 15, 1866.Activities will include special
events, recognitions and promotions.The sesquicentennial
logo,which is featured above,was designed byKU communi-
cation design seniorHAYLEYMILLER ’14 during a spring
semester class competition.
Tower
magazine will contribute to the celebrationwith
upcoming issues dedicated to the university’s history. In
addition, information on the sesquicentennial will be avail-
able in the near future throughwww.kutztown.edu/150,
social media and e-newsletters.
In planning for the celebration, the university is seeking
assistance from theKU familywith the following items:
