MSW Field Profiles 2018-19

MSW SamMeans 2018-2019 Agency Name: Haven House Profile: Haven House has provided mental health services to the Lehigh County and Northampton County residents. Their mission is to improve and elevate the independence of individuals having mental illness while supporting recovery and enhancing their quality of life. Field Placement Responsibilities: My current responsibilities are; conduct assessments of new clients, facilitate individual therapy sessions and complete treatment plans. I primarily work on the micro level unless I need to facilitate a role and work on the mezzo level to meet the needs of my clients. Future Goals: My future goals after graduating with my MSW is to work for the Veterans Affairs and help veterans who are suffering rom PTSD or are having difficulty adjusting back into civilian life.
