BSW Field Profiles 2021-22

BSW Arianna Shade 2021 Agency Name: Social Workers and Advocates at Kutztown Profile: Social Workers and Advocates at Kutztown is an organization that is for all social work students and those who are interested in social work. SWAK provides the opportunity for students to network and convene with students, professors, and community members to discuss issues, concerns, and events relative to the field and to participate in advocacy work. Field Placement Responsibilities: As an intern at SWAK, I am responsible for overseeing and working with the executive board to plan, organize, and facilitate activities for the students and working with both the BSW and MSW Students to help them with anything they need. This includes one - on - one meetings for students, PIM study sessions, facilitating the all - majors meeting and more. Future Goals: I plan to obtain my MSW degree and school social work certificate so I can become a school social worker. Then open community centers in inner cities that ’ ll be a safe and educating space for all. Department of Social Work
