Field Placement Responsibilities: As an intern, there have been a lot of roles and responsibilities that I have had so far. I was hired to be part of the behavioral health services that my agency provides. The tittle of my job is Behavioral Health Technician. With this position I have to go into my client ’ s classroom. I spend the day with my client making sure they are not disrupting other students or the class. I would say my main role is to actively engage with my client especially when they are not having a good day and are struggling to keep their emotions under control. I am also required to put my hours in after each day with progress notes that helps us keep track of how much our clients are progressing. Other responsibilities would include supervision, group meetings, and required trainings. Future Goals: In the future, I would like to see how far this internship can take me. I believe that this internship is a great opportunity to gather experience and is something I think I can build off of. Department of Social Work
