BSW Amber Moyer 2020 Agency Name: CONCERN Profile: CONCERN is a private non - profit human services organization dedicated to providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health services to children and their families. Field Placement Responsibilities: My responsibilities will include receiving foster referrals, reading children ’ s case files, and placing them with families or services. I will be working with the Intake Coordinator and learning how to make referrals. I will also be advocating for foster children at recruitment events, while spreading awareness and attempting to recruit foster parents. Future Goals: My future goals involve macro practice social work. I am interested in policy work, politics, and making systemic change on the macro level. Department of Social Work
