BSW Jennifer Moyer 2020 Agency Name: Creative Health Services Profile: Creative Health Services provides quality behavioral healthcare designed to empower and promote wellness for individuals, families, and communities. Creative Health Services believes in the ability of all people to recover from the difficulties they face. The focus is on every aspect of the person, including mental, physical, and spiritual health, which all play a role in overall wellness. Field Placement Responsibilities: The specific program I will be working in is the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which offers therapeutic intervention to adults with serious mental health diagnoses who experience significant impairment in their daily lives as well as high levels of emotional distress. I will attend weekly group and individual therapy sessions and shadow the therapist who is facilitating these sessions. I will develop a plan of treatment that is evidence - based, recovery - oriented, and tailored to the specific needs of the consumer for whom it is written as well as a group curriculum for conflict resolution that is evidence - based. Eventually, I will co - facilitate group psychotherapy sessions using generally accepted techniques employed in a manner consistent with ethical standards of practice. Future Goals: After graduating in Spring 2021 with my BSW, I hope to obtain an entry - level position in the mental health field to start gaining experience and will potentially return to school for my MSW.
