BSW Field Profiles 2020-21

BSW Kara Kirkpatrick 2020 Agency Name: CONCERN Profile: CONCERN is dedicated to providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health services to children and their families. They have a list of programs including foster care, adoption and permanency, community based, behavioral health, and residential programs. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities vary depending on if I get the opportunity to work with a family throughout the process of fostering. On a daily basis, I keep updated on policies, working with my instructor and other agency personnel to accomplish tasks for Concern. Future Goals: My future goals include getting my masters and I want to explore different aspects of social work, but I would like to get my LCSW and work with children and young adults in the mental health field.
