is the founder and presi-

dent of Men &Women Evolving Now LLC.

The 2000s

George F. Fiore ’00

has been named

superintendent of the Kutztown School

District. Fiore was previously the principal

of Wilson High School, West Lawn, Pa.

Heather (Rovinski) Stenlake ’00

invented

the “Bridal Buddy,” the only product on

the market that helps brides use the

bathroom without the assistance of

bridesmaids, family members and other

handlers, while wearing their wedding gown.

Jaime Wohlbach ’00

has been named

head softball coach at East Stroudsburg

University. Wohlbach was the head coach

at the University of Delaware for five

years prior to her appointment at ESU.

Jeffrey Tkach ’01

has been named vice

president and managing director for Rodale

Inc.’s

Organic Life,

a new magazine brand.

Tkach was previously at Active Interest Media

where he was group publisher of Yoga

Journal and Vegetarian Times.

Joshua Weiss ’02

has been promoted to

manager at Reinsel Kuntz Lesher LLP,

Certified Public Accountants and Consul-

tants, Wyomissing, Pa. Weiss specializes

in planning and compliance for corpora-

tions, partnerships and individuals, as well

as services for multi-state taxation and

consolidated returns.

William Bravo ’03

was a winner of the

2016 ArtPop Billboard Competition

sponsored by a partnership between

Adams Outdoor Advertising, ArtsQuest

and the Lehigh Valley’s arts community.

His winning digital composition is touring

the Lehigh Valley throughout the year on a

variety of Adams Outdoor billboards.

Elinor (Roe) Hart ’03

has been appointed

to a three-year term as a director of the

Orange County Land Trust. Hart is an ac-

tive volunteer in her community. For the

past six years, she has been a counselor

and coach for the Taft Elementary Girls

Running Club in Washingtonville. She was

also the league director for the St. Mary’s

of Washingtonville CYO Girls Basketball

programs for eight years and is a long

time volunteer for her local Girl Scouts

organization.

Judson Meinhart ’04

was elected vice

president of Greater Reading Young Pro-

fessionals. Meinhart is a financial advisor

with RKL Wealth Management.

Jessica Zairo ’04

has been named a Koha

Educator at ByWater Solutions, an open

source community supporter and the

U.S.’ forefront provider of Koha support.

She will join the ByWater team assisting

partners with and educating partners on

their Koha Open Source ILS.

Andre Reed ’05

appeared in the ESPN

documentary “Four Falls of Buffalo,” which

chronicles Buffalo’s remarkable run to

four consecutive AFC championships and

Super Bowls in the early 1990s.

Wendy York ’05

has been elected to a

three-year term as a director of the North-

east Berks Chamber of Commerce. York is

director of the Health Center at Moselem

Springs, Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Lenin Agudo ’06

has been named director

of the Widener University Small Business

Development Center. Agudo most recently

served as director of community and eco-

nomic development for the City of Reading,

Pa. Prior to that he served as director of

the Kutztown University Latino Business

Resource Center and as a consultant for

Kutztown’s SBDC.

Jason Bishop ’07,

award-winning

illusionist and magician, performed at

the Santander Performing Arts Center,

Reading, Pa.

Michael Clay ’07,

a fantasy football analyst,

has appeared on podcasts with ESPN’s

Matthew Berry, writes for ESPN Insider

and became a virtual analyst for EA

Sports’ most recent version of Madden.

Rachel (Lopp) Copland ’07

has been

selected to participate as panelist at the

Harvard University literature conference.

Copland is a humanities adjunct instructor

who primarily teaches writing and compo-

sition courses at Morrisville State College.

Michael Scales ’07

is music director for

the New York Theatre Ballet.

Andrea Berstler ’08

has been named an

instructor for the Young Entrepreneurs

Academy of the Salisbury Area Chamber

of Commerce. Berstler is the executive

director of the Wicomico Public Libraries.

Shena Corrado ’08

has been named the

innkeeper and general manager of the Main

Street Inn, Kutztown. Corrado is the daugh-

ter of the original innkeeper and current

owners, Pam and Angelo Corrado.

Amy Resh ’08

has been named director of

the Boone Area Library.

Kyle Webb ’08

appeared on “Jeopardy!”

A veterinary clinical pathologist, Webb

had auditioned for “Jeopardy!” several

times over the past 11 years. She also ap-

peared on a VH1 game show called “The

World Series of Pop Culture” in 2007.

Ryan Malia ’09

has been named to the

front office of the Bethlehem Steel

Football Club. He will serve as an account

executive of ticket sales. Bethlehem Steel

FC will serve as the Philadelphia Union

affiliate in the United Soccer League and

will play their home games at Good-

man Stadium on the campus of Lehigh

University.

Andrew Smouse ’09

was selected by the

St. Mary’s Ryken faculty and staff for the

Theodore Ryken Teacher of the Year

Award. Smouse has been teaching at

St. Mary’s Ryken since 2011.

Christina Steffy ’09

has released her first

book, “Librarians & Stereotypes: So, Now

What?” The book was peer-reviewed

by Communication Studies Department

Chair Claire Van Ens, Ph.D. The book

examines librarianship through communi-

department and the development, imple-

mentation and monitoring of credit policy,

procedures and practices to support the

bank’s overall business plan and goals.

Additionally he will establish controls to

ensure asset quality and compliance with

designated laws and regulations.

Steven Degler ’88

has been inducted into

the Reading Baseball Hall of Fame. Degler,

the longtime voice of Reading from 1992

to 2008, was the longest tenured broad-

caster in the Eastern League. He currently

serves at the color commentator for the

Lehigh Valley IronPigs TV Network and

the play-by-play voice of the Lehigh Valley

Phantoms hockey team on Service Electric

2Sports. He also calls select Fightin Phils

home games on 2Sports.

Joyce Riche ’88

has been named director

of the Diakon Adoption & Foster Care office

in Topton, Pa. She served as a child prep/

profile specialist from 2004 to 2006 and

then became the Topton office’s supervisor

of permanency services, serving in that

role until her recent appointment as director.

Fernand Paillex ’89,

founder of Grow-a-

Row, gave a TED Talk at Morristown High

School, Morristown, N.J. The mission of

Grow-A-Row is to feed the hungry with

fresh produce for free and grow healthy

kids by educating them and introducing

them to farming. Paillex was publicly

recognized as a New Jersey Hero and in

2010 was appointed by Governor Chris

Christie to the New Jersey Hunger Prevention

Advisory Committee.

The 1990s

Rebecca (Herb) Weiler ’90

has been hired

by Tompkins Insurance as an account execu-

tive in its employee benefits and commercial

lines division. She will work with businesses

across southeastern Pennsylvania and will

be based at Tompkins Insurance’s office in

Wyomissing, Pa.

Kimberly (Luft) Corbidge ’92

has been

named temporary assistant principal of

Shields Elementary School. She has been

teaching for 23 years.

Deborah (Shutt) Brandt ’93

celebrated

the tenth anniversary of Fig Magazine, a

guide to art, food and entertainment in

Lancaster, Pa., that she founded.

David Arnold ’93,

Lebanon County district

attorney, has been named president of the

Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association.

Arnold has been vice president of the as-

sociation since July 2015.

Patricia Didden ’94

has created a color-

coded writing system for children, outlined

in her recent book, “The King’s English.” The

system allows students to nail down con-

cepts through visualization using a different

color for nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.

Christopher Tienken ’94

has published

his second book “Education Policy Perils:

Tackling the Tough Issues.” The book provides

educators and those interested in the future

of public education with research-based and

practical analyses of some of the foremost

issues facing public schools today. 

Wilbur Stout ’95

has been appointed director

of secondary education for the Cornwall-

Lebanon School District. He has been

employed since 2008 as principal at

Hempfield High School in Lancaster County.

James Gerner ’96

has been inducted into

the Hamburg Area School District Athletic

Hall of Fame. Gerner, a 1992 graduate of

Hamburg, participated in football, basket-

ball and baseball, earning varsity letters in

all three sports.

Christopher Hastings ’96

has been awarded

a fellowship by WGBH, Boston, Mass.

Hastings, WGBH’s executive producer

and editorial manager of content for

WORLD Channel, has been selected as the

2015–2016 Margret and Hans Rey/Curious

George Producer, awarded each year to an

outstanding WGBH producer.

Elizabeth (DiLullo) Brown ’97

has been

promoted to vice president of market-

ing and communications at Little League

International.

Jason Urban ’97

displayed his art at the

Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Gallery of Art

at Tarleton State University. Urban’s exhibit,

Soft Rains, featured print and multimedia.

Heather (Warner) Gerber ’98

has accepted

a position with GRIT Marketing Group after

more than a decade as news anchor for

FOX43 in cental Pa. As a senior account

executive, Warner will work with local busi-

nesses to develop and implement strategic

marketing plans.

Scott Graber ’98

contracted KU student,

Joseph Painter, to create a sculpture piece

for Wilson High School, West Lawn, Pa. The

work, “Growth,” was funded by

Dr. George

Fiore ’00,

high school principal. This was a

year-long project for Painter, Graber, Fiore

and faculty advisor, Heather Ramsdale.

Matthew West ’98

has been named director

of technology for the Borough of Narbeth, Pa.

Todd Barnes ’99

was sworn-in as an as-

sistant district attorney for Montgomery

County, Pa., working in the appellate division.

Barnes previously served in the Office of

the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of

Pennsylvania from 2013 to 2015 as a staff

attorney for Justice Ronald Castille and

Justice Thomas Saylor. Barnes has a law

degree from Temple University.

Kathy Miller ’99

visited Greenwich and

Kutztown elementary schools in January

encouraging students to create their own

books. A teacher, cellist, author and nature

photographer, Miller is known for her award-

winning children’s books

Chippy the Chip-

munk.

In 2014 she received the President’s

Volunteer Service Award in recognition and

appreciation of her commitment to

strengthening our nation and for making a

difference through volunteer service. In 2015

she received the Celebrate Literacy Award

from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Read-

ing Association.
