Career Day Connects Students with Industry Leaders The College of Business, in partnership with the KU Career Development Center, brought energy, insight, and opportunity to campus on Wednesday, October 8, during its annual Career Day. Across two panel sessions, students connected directly with industry professionals representing accounting, finance, management, supply chain, marketing, and even sports and entertainment. From assurance and financial planning to digital sales, procurement, logistics, and marketing strategy, panelists shared real-world insights, career advice, and industry trends shaping today’s business landscape. Following the panels, the momentum continued with a lively networking session in de Francesco. Students met employers and student organizations, received free professional headshots, polished their LinkedIn profiles, and even had the chance to be sketched by a career caricature artist, all while enjoying snacks, refreshments, prizes, and giveaways. Career Day wasn’t just an event; it was a launchpad.
