MSW Field Profiles 2021-22

MSW Elsamarie King 2021 Agency Name: ASPIRE To Autonomy Profile: My agency is a place that is very diverse and welcoming. The agency focuses on victims of sex/human trafficking who would like to become autonomous. The objective for this program is to create a network of partnerships that will serve as support systems for these individuals while educating and building and understanding of the effects of trafficking. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement activities are conducting psychosocial assessments, completing safety plans and treatment plans for all clients. I am currently working on the agency ’ s suicide policy that will be utilized in the agency. I complete therapy sessions with patients and update their charts. I broker resources for clients and ensure clients are getting the proper education and services for their care. I also ensure the clients feel safe and empowered when in the Safe house Future Goals: My future goals are to open an agency for battered women and children. I would like to create an environment that is safe and ensures that clients and my employees feel wanted and appreciated. Department of Social Work
