MSW Field Profiles 2018-19

MSW DeeAnna Wessner 2018-2019 Agency Name: Berkshire Psychiatric Profile: Berkshire Psychiatric aims to treat individuals of all walks of life in need of psychological and psychiatric treatment. Services include consultations, evaluations, counseling in the form of individual and groups, referrals, as well as medication management. The agency focuses on providing the best care possible to its clientele to improve their capcity for social functioning. Field Placement Responsibilities: Throughout the duration of my internship, I will be providing one-on-one counseling as well as group counseling in the form of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I will also work to update the policy manual, close client charts, as well as help prepare for the agency's audit. Future Goals: After my Master's degree, I would like to persue my Social Work license and a certification in Thanatology so I may work as a Bereavement Coordinator.
