BSW Jesse Wilkinson 2021 Agency Name: Friends Inc. Profile: Friends Incorporated is a multi - system, non - profit organization that helps clients living in the northwestern Berks County area. They offer food pantries, mobile markets, financial counseling, and other forms of assistance to clients. By working with local providers, they help individuals and families fight and avoid financial crises. Field Placement Responsibilities: I am responsible for assisting with the food pantries and mobile markets affiliated with Friends Inc. I also conduct intakes, assist clients with locating requested services and refer them for services. Future Goals: I want to provide aid to individuals, families, and communities in crisis, research underlying systemic problems society faces and implement evidence - based solutions to these problems.
