BSW Field Profiles 2020-21

BSW Hailey Follett 2020 Agency Name: Kutztown University Social Work Department Profile: My field assignment is a study being conducted by the Social Work Dept at KU. The study is based on Mental Health Services in Rural PA. The goal of this project is to assess the demand of mental health services in rural PA with a focus on people 18 and younger and elderly over the age of 65. Field Placement Responsibilities: My duties include different tasks such as recruitment of participants, observing focus groups, data entry, attending research meetings, conducting literature reviews, and more. Future Goals: My future goals are to continue my education and earn my MSW and DSW. I would like to work in the mental health and drug and alcohol field. Department of Social Work
