BSW Donna Ayers 2020 Agency Name: Northampton County Children and Youth Profile: Northampton County Children and Youth Division is a public child welfare agency which is responsible for ensuring the safety and well - being of children in the community. The agency aims to protect children and youth from abuse and neglect through protective and preventative services designed to keep families together whenever possible and to ensure children's safety, permanency, and well - being. Field Placement Responsibilities: I observe and participate in casework with children and families involved with the agency. I read, review, and understand the pertinent laws, the paperwork involved, the resources available, as well as follow cases throughout their time with the agency. Future Goals: I will work in Pennsylvania for a Children and Youth agency. I plan to get a masters degree in the future. Department of Social Work
