Field Placement Responsibilities: During this field placement, I will be responsible for helping consumers with all types of disabilities to develop social and academic skills. I will learn to assist them in getting ready for independent living and reaching their goals. I will supervise them in the community while learning skills to prepare for future employment. I will shadow Life Skills, Counselors and licensed therapists, and social workers in the different programs in the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living (LVCIL).
