MSW Karissa Schultz 2019 Agency Name: Tree of Life Behavioral Services Clinic Profile: Tree of Life provides individual and family therapy for both children and adults. Some of the barriers that our clients face are abuse, trauma, marital problems, loss/grief, but mainly mental health problems including; ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ODD, among others. Field Placement Responsibilities: My responsibilities there are to perform intakes for children in which I complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluation that consists of a Vanderbilt ADHD scale and a mood and feelings questionnaire. Other responsibilities include determining a pre-diagnosis, providing an initial treatment plan, and counseling children. Future Goals: My future goals are to remain working at Tree of Life when I graduate as I would like to be a therapist for children and to have my own animal rescue at my home as I would like to be an advocate for animals.
