32 TOWER | FALL 2018 15200 Kutztown Road Kutztown, PA 19530-0730 Ursus Aureus, Inc., a subsidiary of the Kutztown University Foundation, held a groundbreaking in August for a new Hampton Inn & Suites being built west of campus. The approximately 64,000 square-foot hotel will o er 100 rooms over four floors with a pool and gym. The $14 million project will be the first nationally branded hotel in the Kutztown community. It is being built on the site of the former Campus Inn which was demolished during the summer. The project will take approximately one year to complete and proceeds from the hotel will directly benefit KU students.
