FALL 2018 | TOWER 23 9 10 12 13 9&10 | Opening weekend of the academic year included Freshmen Convocation in the O’Pake Fieldhouse and the Class of 2022 photo at mid-field in Andre Reed Stadium. Welcome new Golden Bears! 2018 marked the 50th Season of KU Field Hockey. In celebration of the historic milestone, KU hosted a cornerstone event on Saturday, Oct. 20, welcoming field hockey alumnae back to campus. KU named and honored its All-Time Field Hockey Team at halftime of the Slippery Rock game ( 11 ) , recognized all four head coaches in the 50-year history of the program ( 13 ) and invited nearly 100 former players on the field prior to the game ( 12 ) .
