This position is dedicated to helping transfer and readmit students achieve their educational goals by providing personalized guidance, connecting them with campus resources, and facilitating a successful transition to KU. This role reviews students for general education waivers, assists with reverse transfer, and collaborates closely with faculty to promote academic achievement. The Coordinator for Student Success and Transfer Engagement oversees National Transfer Student Week and advises the honor society for transfer students - Tau Sigma. This personalized support is available to aid in success from the time students commit to KU through graduation. Tutoring Services Tutoring Services offers a comprehensive program that helps students to improve their course content knowledge and study strategies, while supporting their individual learning goals. Tutors are available for most 100 and 200 level courses and some upper-level courses. Tutoring Services attempts to find tutors for all classes that have tutoring requests. However, it is not guaranteed that tutors will be available for the requested course. Tutoring Services is located on the ground floor of Rohrbach Library in Room 26. Community Outreach Center The Community Outreach Center, in MSU 281, is the KU hub for student-led community service and social advocacy work. The center promotes mutually beneficial collaborations between the University, the Lehigh/Berks County communities and beyond. Students can get involved in numerous volunteer opportunities such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, before/after school mentor programs, environmental cleanups, blood drives, soup kitchens, alternative spring break trips and more!
