This program offers a valuable opportunity for eligible students to enhance their academic performance and progress towards meeting these requirements. STARS program supports selected incoming freshmen and is designed to familiarize them with the rigor of KU’s academic experience. It includes mentorship, advisement, support, and social activities. The program is a five-week experience that provides two courses (six college-level credits). Starfish Starfish is a retention tool facilitating communication among students, faculty, and staff. It provides an easy way for students to reach out for assistance, for faculty to provide feedback to students, and for all users to actively engage in supporting a student's opportunities for success. Starfish is FERPA Compliant, ADA Compliant, and HIPAA Compliant. Using the same login credentials and SSO as MyKU and D2L, students can easily connect to resources on campus to support their success.
