KU Succeed program is designed to help students return to good academic standing by providing a framework for academic success. Any KU undergraduate student can participate in this program. KU Achieve program is an academic support program required for all first-time, full-time students that earn less than a 2.0 GPA in their first semester here at KU. KU Summer Reboot program is designed to support first-year students who may not have met the cumulative GPA requirement of 2.0 or have not yet reached the required 24 credits for financial aid eligibility. This program offers a valuable opportunity for eligible students to enhance their academic performance and progress towards meeting these requirements. Summer Talent Academy for Rising Stars (STARS) program supports selected incoming freshmen and is designed to familiarize them with the rigor of KU’s academic experience. It includes mentorship, advisement, support, and social activities. The program is a five-week experience that provides two courses (six college-level credits). Starfish Starfish is a retention tool facilitating communication among students, faculty, and staff. It provides an easy way for students to reach out for assistance, for faculty to provide feedback to students, and for all users to actively engage in supporting a student's opportunities for success. Starfish is FERPA Compliant, ADA Compliant, and HIPAA Compliant. Using the same login credentials and SSO as MyKU and D2L, students can easily connect to resources on campus to support their success.
