The KU Sport Business Institute members were also in attendance. The five students shared their theme night and promotional ideas with the Reading Royals staff. Their ideas centered around creative ideas to bond and re-bond the Reading Royals’ existing and potential fanbase using Snapchat and other smartphone apps. By conducting a competitive analysis, they were able to create solid and realistic pricing strategies. The students also presented how the Royals could communicate with their fans through social media platforms to help them achieve success with their social media marketing. Plausible tactics include: publishing appealing content on their social media profiles, listening to and engaging with their followers, analyzing their results and running social media campaigns.
