SPRING 2019 | 7 PSCBC CASE COMPETITION At the Pennsylvania Sports Business Conference, groups of students gathered at Indiana University of Pennsylvania to present new marketing strategies for the Delaware Blue Coats. Kutztown had two teams compete. Team one consisted of Brandon McDonnaugh, Laura Bisco and Ty Chronister. Team two included, Taylor Thames, Cole Single and Jake Chronister. Both teams tied for third place. In addition to presenting at the conference, Brandon McDonnaugh submitted an undergraduate research presentation travel grant proposal with his partner, Deven Messner. Their proposal was titled, “Is a Controversial endorser effective?: Advertising perception and attitude.” The proposal was awarded a cash prize by the Undergraduate Research Committee. NETWORKING EVENT The Career Development Center, the College of Business and the Advisory Council hosted their annual Networking event. Juniors and seniors were given the opportunity to enhance their networking skills as they gained insight on how to market themselves as professionals.
