SPRING 2019 | 7 SCHOLARLY ACTIVITY AWARDS Dr. Feisal Murshed, Dr. Mostafa Maksy and Dr. Soojin Kim were recognized by the College of Business as the top three researchers of the year for their research in their respective fields. Additionally, Dr. Murshed was awarded top faculty researcher of the year. Each of these faculty members has a strong record of scholarly activity covering a variety of topics. Dr. Murshed, a marketing faculty member, has recently focused his research on sales effort and performance and consumers’ brand experiences. Dr. Maksy, a member of the accounting faculty, has focused on factors that contribute to student success in upper-level business courses. Dr. Soojin Kim, from Sport Management, has a diverse range of topics that she has studied, including how athlete endorsements affect product success and social media and sports.
