SPRING 2019 | 5 FEATURED SPEAKERS GALENWOLESLAGLE MBA ‘11 DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS GalenWoleslagle is theDirector ofOperations atGEODIS, aworldwide transport and logistics leader that helps their clients overcome their logistical constraints. Before GEODIS, Galen wanted to work in the environmental science field, but found himself at consulting firms. From that point on, Galen held various warehousing and managerial positions at different companies, such as, ULINE,MedSpeed, GENCO and Lineage Logistics. Galen has a B.S. degree in Environmental Science/Ecology from Juniata College, an MPA from West Virginia University and an MBA from Kutztown University. ANDREWBRANDT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Andrew Brandt is a Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law at Villanova Law School. He is a featured legal and business issues columnist for Sports Illustrated andThe Athletic. He hosts a podcast calledThe Business of Sports with AndrewBrandt, a behind-the-scenes look of the sports industry. Andrew is also the Executive Vice President of Vayner Sports. At the beginning of his career, Andrew worked at ProServ, Inc. and Woolf Associates as an agent representing NBA and NFL players. MICHAEL RABINOVITZ SENIOR BRAND MANAGER Michael Rabinovitz is the Senior Brand Manager at The Hershey Companywhere he is responsible forHershey’s $500million refreshment business. Also, at The Hershey Company, Rabinovitz has held other positions including Senior BrandManager for Seasons, BrandManager for Global Snacks and Brand Manager for Hershey Franchise. Before his current position, Rabinovitz worked for other companies including New Balance, General Mills and Ingersoll Rand. CHRIS PRUITT PRESIDENT & CEO Chris Pruitt serves as President/CEO of East PennManufacturing Co. Inc., maker of Deka Batteries and the largest privately held battery manufacturer in the world with over 10,000 employees. He also serves on the Board of Directors and the company’s Family Council and Foundation. Prior to joining East Penn, Chris was a CPA at Ernst & Young for ten years holding the position of a SeniorManager in the Audit division. Besides East Penn, Chris serves on several Industry Boards: BatteryCouncil International (BCI), Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.
