FALL 2018 | 5 FOUNDATION & ALUMNI RELATIONS The Kutztown University Foundation and Alumni Relations is a non-profit organization that has been raising funds for KU students, faculty, programs and capital needs for Kutztown University since 1983. The Foundation’s efforts continue to grow fundraising success through alumni engagement, public awareness and the cultivation of a philanthropic community. The KU Foundation also includes the Alumni Relations team, whose purpose is to improve the KU alumni experience through events like Homecoming and Gradfest. Their goal is to engage alumni, students, parents and friends with the university by cultivating volunteerism, mentoring, university involvement, lifelong learning and a culture of philanthropy for the purpose of advancing the interests of the university community. The simple and pure generosity of individuals, groups, corporations and foundations creates positive change around the world, everywhere and every day. The KU Foundation relies on the support of thousands of donors each year to accomplish its mission: To raise funds to assist in developing and enhancing quality educational opportunities at KU for its students, faculty, and alumni, and the greater Kutztown University community.
