Innovision Fall 2018

12 | INNOVISION MAGAZINE MBA Dr. Shawn Riley, with the assistance of Dr. Ashwini Gangadharan and two current MBA students, presented information on Kutztown’s MBA program to prospective students. Dr. Riley discussed how one can become eligible for the program and the value of receiving an MBA. Kutztown University’s AACSB accredited Master of Business Administration program offers a hybrid learning experience through online and in-person classes, providing students with a flexible course schedule to complement their commitments outside of the classroom. The hybrid program draws fromKU’s unique strengths as a regional educational and research resource to deliver an integrated and applied MBA curriculum. Through the MBA curriculum, students learn concepts, strategies, and processes used in a managerial decision-making, thus providing the skills to make ethical judgments in future leadership roles. Full- time students within the MBA program also have the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience as a Graduate Assistant working with organizations like the Small Business Development Center or assisting professors with research. Dr. Shawn Riley and Ronald Mathias, a perspective MBA student, discussed the program.
