PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION The Master of Public Administration is a 36 credit program that provides a broad understanding of the principles, processes, goals, and problems of admin- istering public services, with special emphasis on the political realities of public sector management. FUTURE The MPA serves the needs of local government, state government, health care, and other not-for-profit organizations by providing professional students with expertise in management, budgeting, and program analysis. Our MPA graduates hold managerial and lead- ership positions from county government in the Lehigh Valley to the Pennsylvania General Assembly in Harris- burg to our nation’s capitol. All courses are scheduled in the evening, and several are taught in a blended format that combines in-person and online instruction. The program covers a wide range of courses such as Budgeting and Decision- Making, Human Resource Management, Organizational Theory, and Policy Evaluation.
