We offer awards based on a variety of criteria, and provide you with numerous scholarships, waivers, discounts and campus employment oppor- tunities to make a quality education within reach. SOME OF OUR OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE Out-of-State Tuition Reduction: 40% tuition discount for all new, incoming international undergraduate freshman and transfer students. International Student TuitionWaiver: Partial waiver of tuition based on financial need. Sesquicentennial Academic Honors Scholarship: $7,000 awarded to academically talented students who participate in the Honors Program, and is renewable for four years. President’s Academic Honors Scholarship: $1,000 awarded to academically talented students participating in the Honors Program, and is renewable up to four years. Merit Scholarships: Merit-based scholarships ranging from $1,000–$4,000. International Quintet Scholarship: Five full-tuition scholarships for five talented undergraduate international student musicians. Transfer Housing and Book Awards: $1,500 and $500 respec- tively for transfer students who earn an associate degree prior to transferring to KU.
