Weikert has been able to work with organizations such as NASA, NOAA, and Montana PBS. Her film projects have taken her around the country and even traversing the universe with NASA Hubble. Currently, she is a Senior Specialist in Television Production and Video Producing for NASA Earth Science News Team at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. 2020s Laura Conaway ’20 was selected among a blind-audition pool of candidates to create and write a novel set in Lisa Phillips’s story world of Last Chance County. She received mentorship from Phillips and Susan May Warren, a USA Today bestselling, Christy and RITA award-winning novelist. Conaway’s romantic, suspense filled debut novel is titled “Expired Vows.” More recently, Conaway was selected from among hundreds of authors in the Great Author Search to publish “Silencing the Witness” with Love Inspired Suspense, a division of HarperCollins, released Jan. 1. Jerome Kapp ’22 will continue his football career with the St. Louis Battlehawks of the newly formed United Football League – a spring football league that is the product of a merger between the most recent versions of the XFL and USFL. *indicates emeriti faculty and staff
