NOVEMBER 9 New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players: “Pirates of Penzance” The rich sounds of full orchestra, chorus, and vocalists resonate with classic elegance and power, while the company’s vibrancy and contemporary sense of humor keep the show exciting to a modern audience. FEBRUARY 13 Celtic Thunder’s Emmet Cahill and Celtic Woman’s Chloë Agnew Following enormous success with their respective groups, this duo celebrates Ireland's rich musical and cultural heritage, performing both solo and together. MARCH 5 tenThing Brass Ensemble With a diverse and ever-expanding repertoire that spans from Mozart to Weill, Grieg to Bernstein, and Lully to Bartok, this all-female brass ensemble ranges from the classical period to contemporary works. OCTOBER 1 Sugar Skull! A joyous, heartfelt adventure that delves into the rich, colorful, and tuneful traditions of Día de Muertos. NOVEMBER 19 The Okee Dokee Brothers Performing music that inspires children and parents to step outside and get creative, the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers hope kids will gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities, and themselves. FEBRUARY 4 Janet’s Planet: A Tour Through the Solar System This 21st-century theater presentation encourages scientific literacy using humor, theatrical antics, visual illusions, and a lot of fun. APRIL 7 Lightwire Theater: “The Ugly Duckling” Recycling common household items to build their signature designs, Lightwire combines theater and technology to produce life-size stories that glow-in-the-dark. MARCH 20 Del McCoury Band The Del McCoury Band continues to be a peerless torchbearer for the entire sweep and scope of bluegrass history. APRIL 10 Lakecia Benjamin One of the most sought-after and revered saxophonists in the world, Benjamin is an amazing player and a formidable composer and arranger.
