Perez is a mental health and substance use counselor for Pyramid Healthcare Inc. in East Stroudsburg. Following their wedding, they honeymooned in Lake Como, Italy. Emily Cantor ’18 is employed as a facilities technician at Rodale Institute. Shannon Evans ‘18 works as a geologic specialist for Skelly and Loy, an engineering and environmental geology firm in Harrisburg. She collects environmental samples and data for the performance of environmental site investigations, and conducts oversight and maintenance of remedial systems. She has collected groundwater and soil samples throughout Pennsylvania. CLASS NOTES McKenzie Browne ’19 represented Team USA at the 2022-23 International Skating Union World Cup for speed skating. She competed in six events beginning in Norway, followed by events in the Netherlands, Canada and Poland. This is Brown’s first time on the World Cup circuit. She aims to improve and gain experience as she aspires to qualify for an individual spot at the World Championships and ultimately the 2026 Olympics. After graduating from KU with a philosophy degree, Arissa Wertman ’19 attended and graduated from Widener University-Delaware Law School. 2020s Jennifer Haas ’20, M’23 started as a contract and grant specialist at Lehigh University in October 2022. Jenna Kanyak ’20 was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, which is helping to fund her research as she works toward her Ph.D. at The Pennsylvania State University under the supervision of Dr. Raymond Schaak, working on the topochemical manipulation of inorganic materials. Ava Bottiglia ’21 is currently teaching biology and is the head assistant softball coach at her alma mater, Lower Dauphin High School. Lindsay Moyer ’22, a teacher at Oley Valley High School, and Dr. Lyn McQuaid ’95, associate professor of mathematics, presented together at a conference.
