MSW Field Profiles 2021-22

MSW Bianca Parisi 2021 Agency Name: Muhlenberg School District Profile: Muhlenberg School District serves students from grades K - 12 on their campus. They provide a program of educational excellence that enables all students to attain their potential. The school Community promotes academic excellence in a safe a nurturing environment, while celebrating unity, respecting diversity, and empowering all students to become contributing citizens in a global society. Field Placement Responsibilities: My role at the Muhlenberg School District will be working with students grades 7 - 12 and assisting with counseling, doing work with groups as well as individual sessions, assisting with school arrival and dismissal, and observing students in classrooms as well as helping with activities such as lunch duty, 2x10 meetings, attending board meetings, and accompanying field instructor on home visits. Future Goals: I hope to obtain my MSW in May, then I would like to work with children and eventually work towards becoming a licensed social worker and then I hope of someday working towards a DSW.
