MSW Emily Zimmerman 2021 Agency Name: Weiser Decisions Profile: Weiser Decisions is a full - time behavioral and emotional health program within the Conrad Weiser School District that focuses on academic success through the lens of mental health. It provides full time, individualized education for high school aged students with the goal of eventually integrating them back into the high school environment. Field Placement Responsibilities: In my field placement, I work directly with the school social worker to provide individual and group counseling sessions to each student in the school. I also seek to provide the students with necessary resources to ensure their success inside and outside school. I participate in IEP meetings and assist in coordinating group counseling sessions for students in the full - time emotional support classroom at the high school and middle school. Overall, I do what I can to ensure the students have a positive learning environment. Future Goals: In the future, I would like to be a school social worker and ensure that children ’ s emotional and behavioral needs are met. Department of Social Work
