MSW Morgan Mengle 2021 Agency Name: Lehigh Valley Center For Independent Living Profile: At LVCIL, their focus is all on their consumers and helping them achieve their goals independently. LVCIL is a non - profit organization located in Allentown, PA Field Placement Responsibilities: As an Intern at LVCIL, some of my roles include being an advocate and connecting consumers to anything that will benefit them. I am in the Transition and Employment Services Department. They serve the population that have disabilities. I help figure out where consumers would potentially want to be employed and find out their likes and dislikes. My responsibilities as an intern is to make sure that I am advocating for consumers when they are unable to advocate for themselves. I ’ m also making sure that they are being treated fairly and with respect. Future Goals: My Future Goals are To Graduate with my MSW and to simply help people in any way I can. I would love to work in a hospital with children and their families who may need resources during a difficult time. Department of Social Work
