MSW Field Profiles 2021-22

MSW Marie Rossignoli 2021 Agency Name: Berks County Children and Youth Services Profile: My name is Marie Rossignoli and I am a second year MSW graduate student. I am interning at Berks County Children and Youth Services in the Intake Department, specifically the Sexual Abuse Unit. Berks County Children and Youth Services is a child welfare agency that assures the safety and well - being of children from child abuse and neglect, as well as, preserve and strengthen families. Field Placement Responsibilities: As an intern, I will be receiving and investigating cases, specifically pertaining to sexual abuse. I will be working along side law enforcement to assure the safety and well being of children. Some of my roles include advocating for children who are the most vulnerable and unable to speak up for themselves. Future Goals: I would like to continue working in Child Welfare.
