MSW Maria Shior 2020 Agency Name: Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering, Inc. Profile: Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering, Inc. is a faith - based nonprofit located in Bethlehem, PA. They partner with other social service agencies and the city to ensure emergency shelter is provided to those identified as homeless adults without minors in the area. Field Placement Responsibilities: The MSW Intern works directly with the Executive Director to assist in everyday shelter operations, developing and approving programing for linkage to community services, outreach efforts, developing agency partnerships, and advocate concerning issues related to homelessness. The MSW Intern also assists in tracking grant requirements and agency goals, and ensuring agency has adequate resources to achieve agency goals and commitments.
