MSW Jennifer McGlinchey 2020 Agency Name: Lenape Valley Foundation Profile: Lenape Valley Foundation is an agency with 60 years of experience fulfilling its mission of providing comprehensive, caring and trauma informed mental health services in Bucks County. Lenape Valley Foundation strives to serve the needs of the community by providing “ Compassionate Care by Caring People ”. Field Placement Responsibilities: For my field placement, I will be working in the Intake and Referral department of Lenape Valley Foundation, conducting Client intake interviews. The purpose of these interviews are to work with the Client to collect the information needed to complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, safety plans, and departmental referrals and to then assign initial mental health or substance abuse diagnoses. Future Goals: To create and maintain person centered residential programs for those with severe and persistent mental health challenges, fostering safe and supportive spaces where individuals have the autonomy to thrive.
