Their mission is dedicated to partnering with individuals, families, and communities to improve the lives of patients through the delivery of exceptional, specialty behavioral health services in communities across the country. Field Placement Responsibilities: For this internship, I will be observing a Psycho - Social Assessment, multidisplinary team meeting, co - faciliting group therapy sessions, composing case notes, filling paperwork and discharging patients. By the end of this semester, I will be conducting a Psycho - Social Assessment by myself and getting all the paperwork together throughout the patients stay. I will be expanding my knowledge in the mental health field as I learn more about a psychiatric hospital. Future Goals: I will like to get more experience as a clinical social worker while I go for my LSW. Afterwards, I will open my own private practice helps children and younger adults with their mental illness. Department of Social Work
