MSW Field Profiles 2020-21

MSW Kayla Bradley 2020 Agency Name: Aspire to Autonomy Profile: Aspire to Autonomy is a human trafficking organization dedicated to improving the lives of survivors of human trafficking. Aspire to Autonomy strives to initiate, empower, and support survivor ’ s path to recovery. Aspire to Autonomy achieves their mission by advocating, educating, and bring awareness about human trafficking to the community of the Lehigh Valley. Field Placement Responsibilities: As an intern at Aspire to Autonomy, I am involved in the Ambassador Program, Act 197 planning and production, and Communication department. This year I will be involved with the Ambassador program including engaging, recruiting, and intervening with Ambassadors while assessing and evaluating the Ambassador program and surrounding factors. I will implement new policies and practices to improve the Ambassador program. I will work with the communication department to produce content, bring awareness, and promote our online presence. I will work with the Act 197 committee to advocate for the rights of human trafficking survivors, advocate for the increasement of fines, canvas local businesses, and advocate for the enforcement of Act 197. Future Goals: One goal I have after graduating with my MSW is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Department of Social Work
