BSW Field Profiles 2021-22

BSW Stephanie Iannuzzelli 2021 Agency Name: Berks County Children and Youth Services Profile: The agencies focus on children who are abused or neglected. The agency works together to find support and resources for children and families on an as needed basis. Field Placement Responsibilities: My responsibilities that are within the internship are to shadow case workers in the In - Home department. This includes, going on home visits, shadowing court hearings, family centered meetings and working with other caseworkers to connect families to resources and services as needed. Within the In - Home department, the responsibilities are to strengthen the family and provide resources for them. Berks County Children and Youth Services, also focuses on making sure the treatment plans and the overall resources are working well for the family. Future Goals: My future goal is to work in child welfare and help children get the support and services that they need. Department of Social Work
