BSW Field Profiles 2021-22

BSW Stephanie Folsom 2021 Agency Name: Kutztown University Women's Center Profile: The Kutztown University Women's Center strives to make a campus environment that supports inclusion and gender equity. The Women's Center has resources to offer students, including a library, Having the opportunity to organize campus events and provide advocacy at the Women ’ s Center, allows me to acquire many leadership skills and it also grants me the ability to demonstrate my commitment to creating safe environments. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities include planning macro events for the University students. Also some of my responsibilities include making sure everyone who comes into the center feels welcomed, accepted and safe in the center. I work closely with It ’ s On Us which is an organization on campus that prevents sexual assault. I work on an independent based project setting and do projects as needed. I also work closely with the staff in the center working together on tasks, completing goals, brainstorming ideas, and helping people that need it most. Future Goals: My future goal is to get my MSW in social work, and after I get my MSW I want to work with children. Department of Social Work
