BSW Tyler Iffrig 2021 Agency Name: Department of Human Services Profile: The Department of Human Services is Philadelphia ’ s child welfare agency, which investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect, while connecting children and families to needed services. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities are to learn how to engage clients during home - visits, conduct safety assessments, risk assessments and determine if a child is safe in their own home.
